Tech I work with:
Electrical Engineering
TU EindhovenSep 2025 – Jul 2028
BSc Electrical Engineering at one of Europe's top technical universities, building a foundation in circuits, signals, and embedded systems.
Hardware Engineer
Degla AI · YC-backedMay 2026 – Jun 2026
Working on hardware design and integration at an early-stage YC-backed AI startup — bridging the gap between silicon and software.
Side Projects & Building
IndependentOngoing
Shipping software on the side — from web apps to embedded tooling. I believe the best way to learn is to build real things.
Prior education
IB Diploma Programme
High SchoolCompleted the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme — a rigorous pre-university curriculum with a focus on sciences and mathematics.
Electrical Engineering
TU EindhovenBSc Electrical Engineering — circuits, signals, and embedded systems at one of Europe's top technical universities.
Accomplishments
WhatI'veachieved
Hardware Engineer at a YC-backed startup
Degla AI · First year of uni
Landed a hardware engineering role at a YC-backed AI startup during my first year of university — real industry experience, fast pace, high stakes.
Founded Vinea
Founder · 2026
Took autonomous greenhouse robotics from idea to validation — working directly with commercial Dutch tomato, cucumber, and pepper growers in the Westland.
IB Diploma Programme
IB DP · 40/45
Graduated the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme with 40 out of 45 points.
Launched JobBlast in a week
JobBlast · 2026
Solo-built and launched JobBlast within a week of starting to build it — now onboarding the first users to gather feedback and iron out bugs.

Vinea
In ProgressAutonomous robotics for greenhouses — a modular robot with one base platform and interchangeable attachments (harvesting, crop scouting), so a single machine handles multiple jobs inside existing greenhouses, no rebuild required. Offered as robotics-as-a-service, starting with Dutch tomato, cucumber, and pepper growers in the Westland.
Sprint phases
- Complete:Toolchain
- Complete:One arm, one pick
- Complete:Row + planner
- Complete:Onboard perception
- Complete:Free placement + throughput

JobBlast
LiveA solo-built, AI-powered platform for finding and applying to jobs and internships. Upload your resume and the AI scores it against ATS criteria with concrete fixes, recommends companies based on your profile, pulls their listings, and match-scores every role. It can auto-apply on your behalf, generate a roadmap when you don't qualify yet, and tracks every application through the interview pipeline.
Tracko
DoneA tiny open-source dashboard where every important date and goal gets its own glanceable card — event countdowns with auto-picked logos and multiple timer styles, plus money goals with a sack that fills up as you save. Everything lives in localStorage: no accounts, no server.

Building Vinea
Started building Vinea — autonomous, modular robotics for commercial greenhouses. Currently in the validation phase, working with Dutch growers in the Westland.
May 2026 – Jun 2026
Joined Degla AI as Hardware Engineer
Joined a YC-backed AI startup as a hardware engineer. First real industry experience — fast-paced, high stakes, incredible learning curve.
Sep 2025
Started at TU Eindhoven
Began my BSc in Electrical Engineering — one of the best technical universities in Europe. Moved abroad, started from scratch.

Electrical Engineering student at TU/e and working hardware/software engineer who learns by building. Hands-on across drones, robotics and independent ventures — comfortable taking a problem from concept to working prototype, and across the hardware–software boundary.
Experience
Junior Hardware Engineer (Intern)
May 2026 – Jun 2026
Degla AI — LLM-controlled drone swarms, search & rescue
- Built and tuned multi-rotor platforms: airframe assembly, weight balancing, pre-flight tuning.
- Worked with PX4 firmware — flight modes, PID tuning, MAVLink communication.
- Ran Gazebo simulations and integrated ROS 2 nodes for sensor and data pipelines.
- Bridged hardware and software: translated physical constraints into software parameters and back.
Founder (solo)
Jul 2026 – Present
Vinea — greenhouse robotics venture, getvinea.nl
- Took a venture from zero to a validated thesis: market sizing, unit economics, business model and go-to-market for autonomous robots in Dutch commercial greenhouses.
- Built the harvesting system in simulation: a two-armed pipe-rail trolley working a four-row Venlo house, with measured kinematics, onboard perception and a throughput campaign.
Bartender (part-time)
Oct 2025 – Present
Thomas
- 15–20 hrs/week alongside full-time study; composure and communication under pressure.
Projects
AI job and internship platform: resume ATS scoring, company match scores, auto-apply and eligibility roadmaps. Launched July 2026; 10 active users and counting.
Agricultural robot prototypes
Built multiple iterations concept-to-prototype, working through hardware failures iteratively.
